Hello World, it’s me Ubiquitous Chris!

I’m  Chinese American and currently residing in the big apple. Like many Asian American guys, I grew up playing video games and watching anime. Video games have been an important part of my life growing up, and even in my adult years when time is scarce, I still try to make room for them when I can. Specifically, I grew up with Pokemon, Starcraft, and Counterstrike, all of which I competed at one point on a competitive level (I even did my undergraduate mathematics senior thesis on Pokemon!). If you want to talk about these games or want to play, get in touch with me!

Eventually, after growing out of anime, I moved towards other sources of media consumption such as foreign films, literature, and music (however I still enjoy going to anime conventions). I believe all music genres contain good music, some are just harder to find than others. Personally I enjoy the genres classical music, EDM, hip-hop, jazz and k-pop. Most of the foreign films I have watched are Japanese or Korean. I plan to post a few of the most interesting movies I’ve watched on my blog.

Currently, my goals are to advance my career in the legal tech industry, and improve my financial savviness. I have a strong background in tech and mathematics, and love talking about smartphones, stocks, real estate, baseball, and game theory.
